Is Haiti just another “Crisis” for the progressives?

Knowing what we already know about obama and his close cadre of marxist/maoist associates, you have to wonder exactly how they will exploit the earthquake in Haiti to their advantage.
I’m sure you remember back in March of ‘09 when Rahm Emanuele made the repulsive comment regarding the economy and our countries orchestrated financial meltdown: “You can never let a good crisis go to waste.” A line which was taken directly from Saul Alinsky’s “Rules For Radicals.” Hillary Clinton was also quoted as making the same statement.
With more and more devastation being revealed daily in Haiti and the human toll increasing by the hour, I find myself wondering just what the progressives have in mind in order to leverage this “Crisis” into political hay for the left.
A hundred million in aid is a good start. And I would argue that most Americans including myself would not object to aid being given to any country in desperate need after a natural disaster. Just as Americans have historically given above and beyond any other country in history, we are once again providing aid and rescue to those in need.
But, with these political opportunists bent on bringing down the United States in Washington, you know that won’t be the end of it.
Making Haiti a ward of the United States in some way would work wonders in advancing the leftist agenda. With millions more people on the public dole it would suit obama’s purpose of strapping tax payers with a whole new welfare state totally dependent on big government. A built-in democratic majority!
It would also increase the already huge burden on our healthcare system since Haiti is full of disease, as one of the largest HIV/Aids stricken nations on earth. Such a burden on the American tax payer would fit right in with what obama / pelosi / reid have already worked hard to orchestrate here in the past year. A total collapse of our current system.
How about statehood? If there is any way the progressives can turn 9.8 million Haitian earthquake victims into voters, you can be sure they will.
It fits right into everything our community organizer president and his progressive partners stand for based on the teachings of our president’s mentor and master “Organizer” Saul Alinsky.
