Obama uses Teleprompters to talk to Sixth Graders??
Presidential Teletubbie-prompter?
The President along with Education Secretary Arne Duncan showed up at the Graham Road Elementary School in Falls Church, Va., on Tuesday Jan. 19, 2010, and brought along their teleprompters to speak to a classroom of 11 year old kids. The President, his staff, and body guards brought two teleprompters into the classroom along with the official podium displaying the Presidential seal to make a speech to 30 sixth graders! I’m sure they posted several “Dear Leader” posters on the way out as well.
This is the Whitehouse account of the event.
“This morning the President and Secretary of Education Arne Duncan paid a visit to Graham Road Elementary School in Falls Church, Virginia where they had a chat with about 30 6th grade students. The conversation put a face to the people they were trying to help with the President’s latest investment of more than a billion dollars in next year’s budget to amp up the President’s “Race to the Top” program – a competition to incentivize success that has already generated an overwhelming response from states, with over 30 states expected to compete for first-round funding….”
I think I speak for all 6th graders when I say:
“Huh?”
Wait till they hear about obama’s new tax plan for anyone who gets over 45 cents a week in milk money!!
